The love for the Guru is the same as the love for Hitler. aka The Charisma Effect.
The other day I was watching television when a clip of some of
Hitler's rallies in the 1930's came on.
This clip was different than most because it was filming
the crowds lining the parade instead of Hitler himself. The faces of the madly enthusiastic
crowd were visible right down to individual people's faces. One young woman in her twenties nicely
dressed with a cute beret was focused on for many seconds. Her face showed the same kind of expression
as I have seen on those worshipping a guru or god, or pop star. A kind of mad devotional state which
is promoted as being highly desirable for spiritual seekers and devotees. And yet they were totally
adoring evil itself. They saw a false outer charade somehow, they were besotted by Hitler's charisma.
Beware of charisma it is a quality of an individual which
has nothing to do with the truth of their message or how enlightened a person is. Charisma will induce
a trance in you and you will follow it god knows where.
It is this curious quality of human beings being susceptible to this love
of the master or father which makes it possible for tyrants to become rulers of a country. People like
Stalin or Hitler or Saddham Hussein could not get where they did unless a lot of people adored them.
Even though Stalin was a brutal dictator millions of Russians loved and adored him; they were blind to
the reality ,they were hypnotized by this mad adoration/devotion. When he died millions of Russians
cried and wept. Sounds mad doesn't it?
Or what about the Heaven's Gate sect in America. The man who was
the leader looks crazy and possessed by some weird entity, (even from just viewing the TV documentary
about him). And yet hundreds thought this was a sign of godliness or whatever and followed him
eventually to heir deaths. The list goes on
Beware of being "out to lunch" around a teacher keep your feet
rooted in your true feeling of you. I even notice people doing this kind of adoration when I teach the
harp in a workshop, one must be careful not to be sucked into this world.
A guru or teacher who attracts a group of followers around him or
her faces the very real danger of the charisma effect. Usually a teacher will only attract a large
following if they have a significant charisma. People like it and the message they speak of is often
secondary to their charisma.
A true guru must continuously be aware of the charisma effect and
must be sufficiently aware to see when they are being seduced by it.
A person who is genuinely interested in seeing and living
reality, must come to see what their relationship with the teacher is. A seeker or student must be
able to see the power of the guru's charisma and see the truth beneath it.
Unfortunately this is not as romantic as living under the
spell of their guru's charisma. It is also a lot like the chicken and the egg syndrome; i.e. until the
student is sufficiently aware, he/she cannot see that he/she is under the spell, so what to do?
A few tips:
- Just look around and see what is going on around you
- Is the love and devotion expressed by a teacher's followers being equally returned by the Guru.
- Does it cost? either in dollars or in some other form.

How our Society creates distrust in Children,
Are you perverting the Innocence of your Children?
Today in a local cafe I witnessed a man trying to trick a young child
into putting its nose between his fingers. He said to the child," this will be a good massage
it will be good for you." Of course when the child puts his nose there the
fingers close and squeeze the child's nose. This hurts. This is one more lesson
in learning to distrust and develop a cynical attitude to the world, loosing
that innocence we are born with. The child was not to be taken in so easily, so
the man tried over and over. He seemed to enjoy the challenge and was apparently
unaware of what was really going on. Why does someone try so hard to do this?
A similar story from my childhood. One afternoon when I was walking home from school I passed some men working on the telephone line. A man said "Do you want to know
your weight?" I said "yes." believing what the man said would be true. He
said "Just hold on to these metal bars." When I did he turned a handle on
a box where the wires came from. I received an electric shock. I could not let
go of the probes till he stopped. The men just laughed. I was shocked to say the
least.! These days such behaviour would probably land them in jail. But in
those days ...I said nothing and walked home, feeling confused and stupid.
Are you perverting your children's' innocence? Maybe not as blatantly as the
above examples, but maybe more subtly, maybe telling them lies or maybe
promising them ice cream if they behave the way you want.

ARE YOU MOTHER AND FATHER LIVING INSIDE IN YOU?
(Or does your wife/husband remind you of your mother or father?)
Are your parents are still alive? You may be surprised to discover
there are two sets of them. One set who gave birth to you and raised you, and
the other set who live inside you like ghosts. These ghosts of your parents are
not often investigated. Check yourself out, and see how many mannerisms and
thoughts and opinions have come from your parents. What about bodily things like
the way you speak, habits etc.?
If one or more of your your parents have died on the outside, are they still
living through you?
This is most obvious in man woman relationships. Husband/wife. Are you
repeating the way your mother and father did?
Are you living a truly independent life or are you competing with your
parents ghosts? Does your partner remind you of your mother/father? Who
takes charge in stressful or "trigger" situations? Is it the real
you or these ghosts from the past?
Living with a partner is a very powerful way of revealing all these hidden
patterns and ghosts. Often people cannot stand it and divorce. The divorce
statistics are increasing year by year . In USA, Europe and Australia, the
percentage of marriages which break up is huge. It seems the energy needed to
deal with the extreme stresses of modern life are exhausting all the energy
which is needed to keep these ghosts and patterns in check. They break out of
their cages and run amok. People scream at one another they cannot stand living
with others even though they still may love them underneath. This is so painful.

WHAT CAN I SAY?
Here I sit at my computer. If you have a computer you are one of the wealthy
on the planet. Most of the 6 billion people on this planet would have to work
for a hundred years to afford one.
I have said much in these last months but until there is feedback and some
people actually start to hear what I am saying I rest here.
How does one affect the stronghold of the psychic realm on humans? It has
been powerful for centuries. People thought science would overthrow it but it
has not.
We have the war on terror, war on poverty, war on drugs etc and etc. But what
about the war on the crushing control of the psychic realm on our lives? How
about the overthrow of the true evil.

THE NEGATIVE WORLD NEWS
After watching the world news on the TV last night I dawned on me that
it is all a brainwashing exercise!! Not that the events do not happen, it
is just all they broadcast is horrible events. All the other wonderful things
happening are not mentioned. The media tune into hot spots like flies to a
corpse.
When you watch this repeatedly you become hypnotised into thinking violence,
greed, and corruption are normal and OK. You become hardened to it. The news reports
are skilfully selected to make you think certain things, feel certain feelings
and most of all to make you have a strong feeling about the events one way or
the other. While you have strong opinions about all this stuff you can be controlled,
and your life is miserable. You are a zombie!
A world of half reality is created for you and without you noticing,
your own life becomes unreal bit by bit. One day you may wake up and see what is
going on. Voila! You stop believing your thoughts and feelings. You can see what
is real. You see the psychic forces/demons at work around you. What a surprise!.
You see that resisting these forces makes them stronger. You see that doing
their work makes them stronger. You see that passive non-co-operation breaks
their hold on you. You become free. You see reality behind the illusion.

THE REALMS OF EXISTENCE
WE LIVE IN A WORLD MADE UP OF VERY DENSE THOUGHT AND EMOTION.
The other day we as were walking to the beach I saw a window sticker on a car
,it said "Destroy Racial Hatred". this struck me as a very emotional
and dense statement. It caused me to ponder while walking on the beach and the
following words arose.
The material realm is really a more dense contraction of the devil
realm. It is made up of very dense thought and emotions. In this realm thoughts
are so close together that they produce the illusion of a world. To make matters
even more confusing everybody has a different version of the world depending on
the suite of thoughts that they are addicted to. Slow, dull and fanatical
persons live in a very dense world of thought which seems like rock to them.
Racial hatred exists here.
The more enlightened a person is, the less dense the thought world is for
them. As one frees oneself form the hypnosis of thoughts feelings and demons,
the material and devil realms are experienced as being less real and one sees
and feels less affected by these worlds. Eventually as one awakes from the sleep
of thoughts and demons one 's feet are rooted in the doggie realm, the world of
true love and reality for humans.

EMOTIONS
ARE NOT YOU
Have you noticed this tripod blog had added emoticons which I can add to
this blog if I want them. They are nearly all self effacing or flirty or something false. There is not one
for feeling quietly good or beautiful without sexy connotations.
Day by day we hide behind an ever increasing array of emotions feelings thoughts
and ideas. These are hiding the real us. the real me, who is buried under all
this garbage( called rubbish in the UK ).
How many spooks do you want in your life? These emoticons/emotions are all
spooks or ghosts.!!
Your life is a nightmare if it is controlled by spooks. These spooks offer
something which appears attractive at first, but after a while it turns sour and
then becomes a real pain. Just like drugs or overeating or gambling, to mention
just a few.
The spooks keep it all going with a barrage of thoughts and feelings, which go
on inside you without you noticing, till you say enough! I want my life back.
Then the door to freedom is available.
The spooks which seemed so real start to dissolve away, the hypnosis starts to
dissolve, the screen starts to fade and the background scenery appears.
You can then walk the pristine fields of freedom leaving the spooks behind.

Do you know what is meant by being spooked? It means being afraid of ghosts
or some other unlikely event, believing in a curse or hex etc. It also means
believing in any supernatural being or event. Often called popular religion, or economics
or whatever!
Unfortunately this mode of living life has moved into the spiritual growth
movement also called the seeking enlightenment circus
This circus has a belief that some supersonic event ,some supernova or something
incredible, has to happen to you to be free!! It also contains the
doctrine that you must hang around or show homage to someone who has had this
happen to them!
This belief keeps you in prison!! This belief is a thought or demon or
entity living in your mind feeding off your mental energy. It is fed by your
friends and religious and other community leaders.
Throw out this belief and see what is here without it. You will have to be
strong and the trick is to see how you are being sucked back into it. Your spiritual
friends can be the worst of your prison guards. They have an investment in the
story and hate to see anyone near them become free of it. Only their "teacher"
who is somehow remote from their daily life can be a superman!.
Be a normal simple human being without being controlled by demons, thoughts
and emotions. You can then feel true sweet love and the softness of being with
life.

THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT AND THE ANCIENT SPARTANS.
Have you heard about the ancient Spartans? That ancient Greek city state
whose culture was very severe and were regarded as the most warlike and
militarily best of the Ancient Greek armies?
They eventually took over all of Ancient Greece, defeated the Athenians and
tried to rule all of Greece their way! Well they lost the peace, meaning they
gave everybody the shits and eventually the other Greeks rose up and defeated
them. The Spartans did not know how to rule and provide a happy and
egalitarian culture for their subjects or even themselves! They had little
diplomatic prowess. A bit like the "Klignons" in the "Star trek" TV series!!
It seems the to me That the USA is heading this way too. They won the cold
war and now people around the world are starting to hate them even in Europe.
Will they win the peace or collapse in on themselves? Will their actions be the
cause of an unpredictable re-arrangement of world power and alliances, and the
spread of more nuclear weapons? ( If you were a small country on the edge wouldn't
you feel safer having nuclear weapons?) Here is a story which was on TV recently which illustrates
my point.
Have you have heard the inside story of the Cuban missile crisis in 1962 ?
The American government recently released classified files on the crisis. Not so
amazingly the USA installed nuclear warheads in Turkey pointing at the USSR next
door! Of course the Russians were a little upset over this so they thought that
putting nuclear missiles on Cuba would even the score! Maybe that would also
stop the imminent invasion of Cuba as well.
Well the Americans found out and put a blockade on Cuba. The tension became
so bad that the whole world was one command or error away from nuclear
wipe-out!! The arrogance of the Americans was so great that they thought
it was their right to invade Cuba and had trouble negotiating with the Russians!
There are stories of President Kennedy's aide meeting a Russian diplomat in a prominent
Washington restaurant over dinner to try to sort out the mess! I wonder what
their digestion was like that day?
A deal was eventually worked out about 1 hour before the deadline to go to
war and wipe out the world ( can you believe the these sort of people are
in charge of the world and still are?) The Russians were more diplomatic
in this crisis. The deal was; The Russians were to take their missiles out
of Cuba and the Americans would agree never to invade Cuba. But the weirdest
thing was the Americans agreed to remove missiles from Turkey as long as the Russians
kept quiet about it!! It was to be kept secret for 50 years!!
Another words President Kennedy and the whole USA government were so scared
of appearing fools or weak in front of the world and their own people, that they
were prepared to blow everything up if they did not get their way. You can be
sure these kind of people are still in charge in Washington. A combination of
the military, corrupt corporate leaders, politicians and insane bureaucrats as
well as a fundamentalist religious zeal.
These
people are so overtaken by the demon that they do not exist as humans anymore! there is
probably no hope in hell for them. Their fear is immense, they are not anywhere
near reality, they are the mad captain who causes his ship to get lost and sink.
Only the crew taking over may save the ship but the crew are scared because
mutineers are rarely given any sympathy by the ruling powers.
What can you and myself do? Is there any escape from this situation?
Enter the normal human who must take control over his/her life. The only way
for this mess to solve itself. In other words you are required to take control
of your life.

What does it really mean?
Who are you to control whose life?
From my perspective YOU means your true nature that essence of silence and
infinity which is you and gives you that subtle sense of me.
Tune into this subtle sense of ME and ignore the clamour of all those
thoughts and entities in your mind which try to claim you as there own!!!!!
These thoughts demons and entities are very loud and seem powerful. They are ruining your
life!!
How to reduce their power?
How do these demons control you your friends and of course the whole human
race?
These demons rely on you telling lies to sneak into your mind and then whamo!!
So the process of freeing yourself is easy. Just be honest with yourself and others. Resist the temptation to tell lies to
yourself and others, but do not turn it into a crusade!!! that would be another
form of violence. How many religious atrocities have been committed by over
zealous followers?
You can also tell lies by not speaking up when it is appropriate, thus giving
tacit approval to someone else's lies. Another way is to do another persons
dirty work because you are afraid to say NO!
Do not follow others and repeat their lies, do not be a slave to a tyrant no
matter what the personal cost may be. To be a slave to a tyrant or idea is the
worst kind of enslavement. You are then a zombie. You will do terrible things
while being hypnotised by an idea and not seeing what you are doing. This is a life of
intense suffering.
Resist the urge to exaggerate a story or facts to strengthen your cause.
Doing this will soon get you caught up in the world of lies and political
humbug. you will end up becoming another poor funky and corrupt politician or dreamer.
That is the definition of corruption! Doing other peoples' dirty work for money,
or out of fear or desire for prestige. The corrupt politician is a sad sad case,
often causing the mass suffering of a whole country.
The existing world society is so caught up in lies ,exaggeration and
fantastic stories that anyone who is even slightly honest is going to stand out
like a lush tree in a vast desert. You have to be strong and be true to you real
self. sort the junk from the diamonds.

THE EVOLUTION OF THE *MEMES OR THOUGHTS *( A scientific word for
thinking processes)

These days there a lot of people worried about the evolution of computers,
robots and genetic engineering etc. Their fear is that computers will become so
smart that they will take over the human race and either make us slaves or get
rid of us.
Well "hold your horses" as they say in the movies!
The human race has already been taken over by its own thoughts!. These
thoughts were originally ours but over time they became so numerous and so
clever they have fooled us and taken over our brains.
Those thoughts which we think are ours, are running our lives, they have a
life of their own! To test this see if you can stop thinking! Can you control
which thoughts come into your head?
I recently watched a documentary program on National Geographic Television called "THE EVOLUTION OF THE HUMAN MIND THE BIG BANG!" According to
current scientific theory there was a jump in the consciousness of humans about
50,000- 30,000 years ago when humans could think about the past and future
and developed language, also known as abstract thought.
Thoughts began happening in the human mind that gave us a great advantage
over our cousins like the apes and Neanderthal man. The down side was that over
time these thought processes took on a life of their own in our heads and minds, slowly
taking control of our minds and bodies, making us think habitually.
Very early in the picture humans probably had very few thoughts passing
through their heads unless there was a task to think about. Neanderthal man
probably had no random thoughts at all.
This event in the history of humans could also be looked at from another
angle. Humans became ripe for the entry of the psychic realm with the advent of
abstract thought. We became suitable hosts for these thoughts which have become psychic parasites.
They have gradually collected around us. giving us personalities and emotional identities.
We have become slaves to our thoughts which are also known as also known as demons or entities or
desires or wants.
These days there are billions of humans generating billions of random
thoughts leading to psychic traffic jams or "gridlock"! All these
thoughts are basically various desires which clash with one another because they
are all competing with one another. This is causing much of the trouble in this modern world.
In essence when you have a thought that you want something it goes out into the
psychic realm and clashes with thoughts from others who want something
different. This is one reason why The Buddha said desires are the source of all
suffering.
These thoughts/demons have become highly sophisticated and clever and very
powerful. They know how to control the human race with great precision. They
know when someone like me is trying to expose them! They will try to stop people
like me (a messenger of escape!) from being effective! This is done by ridicule
at first then trying to isolate the messenger or maybe if he or she becomes too
powerful or too much of a celebrity jail the or kill them. This happened to one
of my teachers Osho Rajneesh.
I have painted a rather gloomy picture but there is hope. It is essential to
learn the way to unlock the human mind from the prison of these demons/thoughts.
How! To learn how they work in the mind and then not go along with their
stories. They are the ultimate *spin doctors! *(spin doctor refers to
highly skilled people who create propaganda eg. politicians advertising agencies
etc.)
How do we alert the mass of humanity to this situation?
This is the hardest thing to do. Hardly anyone wants to know this most secret
jewel of liberation!! can you believe it?
My life work is to seek out the solution to this problem, to reach as many as
possible in a way that they will hear. Different cultures have different groups
of demons/thoughts. That is what makes them different cultures! Despite our fascination
with them, cultures are in a way like prisons which keep people thinking in a certain
way.
We must liberate the minds of all people no matter what their culture, and then
they can begin to see en masse the true reality behind the unreal haze of
thoughts that fog their minds. Then a true new world will have the opportunity
to emerge.

Absent Master
In this modern world especially in the west and now in the
emerging Asian culture, people spend their lives running
round working looking after their families and doing
something all the time.
When does anybody have time for themselves?
I mean for your real self.!
Not who you think you are.
Do you really believe you are your thoughts?
Or maybe this funny soul?
You are like a hotel where the owner has gone to sleep or
on holiday and the guests are running amok!!All these guests give the impression there is someone in
charge. It is chaos and all these guests do not pay their
rent and use up all the food and electricity without
paying as well!!
The master must take charge. You are the master you must
come back from being out to lunch or asleep and be the
master of yourself.
You are not any of these crazy thoughts or feelings that
inhabit your body/mind. You must not allow these guests to
take you over!!
Imagine your family if you set back and told the children
they had to run the show themselves!!
You the master are pure awareness itself the pure essence
that all the sages talk about.
You do not have to search for it because you are it now!!!

Emotional
Viruses
Have you noticed?
Emotions and thoughts behave like viruses or germs.
One angry or unhappy person in a group can somehow
mysteriously infect others. Several People may become
angry or feel angry after being affected by one infected
person!!!
Do you take on other peoples' feelings ideas or thoughts?
Are you acting like an open channel for this energy?
Stop and look what is really going on before you take on
someone's' ideas or hatred.
Be one who cuts the wires which these demons travel
through!

Spiritual
Poverty
Someone emailed me saying they were spiritually poor
That they needed help.
What could this mean?
All concepts of rich or poor are just crap put into our
minds by our parents our societies and religions.
This is just another of those little demons lurking in the
mind!!!!
My advice for what it is worth is look at your life as a
whole
A person who has thoughts like this very likely has many
other thoughts of unworthiness.
Hang out with people who show true love People who will
support the real you and help you get rid of these demonic
thoughts.
There are many more of these loving people around than you
may at first believe.
If you really want to free yourself of these demons life
will point you in the right direction.

The
Seagull Sage
All that appears in this vast universe is the self.
What do I mean by the self?
This is hard to explain it is the absolute one .
It has no qualities on its own. Somehow it manifests
everything
we are it! It is also referred to as God by some but this
is dangerous because most people have created a picture of
God in their own image a false god. So I do not like to
use the word God.
even a humble seagull can reveal the true nature of the
self
In my antiguru world the doggie realm lies closest to the
Self
Here is a poem I wrote after Satsang with a seagull
The Seagull Sage
I was sitting by the sea when one seagull walked up to me
He stood there eyeballing me
for a long long time for over half an hour
he just stood there looking at me
My eyes looking at his, his eye looking at mine.
After a long time a thought entered the mind ,
Can a seagull know the self, can he know who he is?
Quickly a reply came, the seagull said
"I am the self itself, how could it be
otherwise?"
I am humbled by this seagull ,my human arrogance
washed into the infinite sea.

Military Madness
I was was watching the news last night; the whole world seems to be heading for
a big war, sooner maybe than later.
America is forcing government funded schools to allow military cadetships in schools
and and /or students spending their school life as military cadets.
North Korea is going gung ho towards all out war.
Australia is having a big frenzied Anzac celebration in Turkey amid threats of
terrorist attacks.
All over the place thugs and dictators are running the third world.
In all this noise of hate fear and insanity where is the simplicity of being a
human being?
All this seems to be fuelled by a combination of religious hatred and fear of
the other, propagated by the people who seem to be in power in the world.
This seems to be a repeat of the 1930's period in the twentieth century the rise
of Hitler in Germany fascism in Japan.
Did it really stop? or just go quiet for a while.
After seeing the passion of over 2million Shiite Moslem pilgrims going to their
shrine in Iraq screaming hatred at the USA, I became very concerned .
Religion of any kind would seem to be the source of fascism. People are
trained to obey from a very young age. You can do and are expected to do any
atrocity in the name of God or anything else. If you don't believe in the God of
the religion you are born into, you are either killed or thrown out or made a
slave in the mines. Heaven is the cookie put in front of you if you do all they
want you to do, but you cannot really do it, it is all set up so you will fail
and feel unworthy.
The military use the same techniques on new recruits and all through military
training. Obey obey obey.
Where are the angels these days?
If we the rich and well to do of the world do not see what we are doing who else
will?
Enlightenment is not for the rich or the poor it is for
EVERYBODY

Who Are we really?
We spend our time working, reading watching TV sports competing praying and
who knows what else?
But in all this who are we, Who am I?
What makes my life tick?
Am I my thoughts? Feelings? or the elusive soul?
I cannot be any of these things because I always say they are MY thoughts MY
feelings MY soul etc.
How do I find out who I really am?
ANSWER: look between the thoughts and feelings.
Look at the space between them.
What is left? see for yourself
You have been told for ages who you should be, how you should behave, how to
think, what to feel etc.
Is your life really yours or is it controlled by tons of thoughts feelings and
god knows what else?
Who are you free of all this stuff?
This is the enquiry of a lifetime.

1:Love the devil
The reason the Tasmanian devil is nasty is no-one loves him. everyone tries to run from him, so he feels lonely and hurt. So he chases after everybody trying to get their attention. They keep turning away so he digs in creating discomfort and pain.
If they turned to him and gave their love he would start to feel much better and soften and eventually become a ball of love himself.
He may even become a valuable ally in the journey into the unknown world of the psyche.

2: The Cult of the Guru. 17th Jan 2003
It has become fashionable in the west for a lot of people
to have a guru. A man or woman who is supposed to lead you to freedom. The guru whether
by providing you with a list of activities to do or maybe just sitting with them
will some how change your life into one of liberation.
Now what is liberation? or freedom or peace? well most of
us have some childish idea that it is some place where there are no problems no
flies land on your face there are no nasty people etc. the list is endless and
of course the ultimate bait hanging on the string is immortality, one
lives on beyond the body in some wonderland.
Now this may be true or not but the problem is all these
ideas themselves are part of the trap of the mind. The trouble a teacher or guru
has is that 99.99 percent of those who some to them do not hear what is said.
There can be a small opening at first but soon the monster learns the tricks of
the game and turns the teaching into a mind spin. endlessly going round and
round bouncing ideas back and forward with fellow disciples and staying stuck
The mind soon turns it all into a process meaning I
suffer through all these experiences and in the imaginary future I will be freed
.
This is the ancient enslavement of religion.
Religion started out when someone asked why am I here or
how can I improve my hunting skills etc. They then thought by doing some
activity it would help them. no one checked to see if it worked! soon the
cunning devil of the mind (I call the monster ) locked onto this in one or
two individuals who liked the idea of controlling others. The witch doctor or
tribal priest was born, things weren't too bad by modern standards till the idea
of sacrifices arose which in some cultures turned into human sacrifices turning
the whole culture into a living hell destroying the humanity of the people
eventually destroying the whole civilisation..
All this is impossible without the idea of the future
you must realise that the future is a creation of the human mind. No other
animal seems to have a concept of it.
People try to tell their dog I will give you a treat
later on but no way is the dog impressed, he is just hungry! now.
Now a days religion and governments work hand in hand to
enslave vast numbers of people. Very few escape and they are often hunted down
and killed. In the west the decline in the influence if Christianity has been
replaced by the religion of materialism and scientism. We are told every day on
the TV about new products which will improve our lives but it all costs!
Nearly every day a bulletin on the news has a science
report about a new wonder drug which could (note the word) cure some disease but
it will take many years of testing etc, and cost millions to make test and
ultimately purchase. Meanwhile millions are starving or dying of basic diseases
caused by poverty.
So all this background has hypnotised millions into
believing a better world exists in the future and it must be spiritual and I
must do something to get there and I must pay for it.
Enter the spiritual capitalists! especially in the USA
.nearly every week a new book is published by a new found guru.!
So why does Robert bother to write all this stuff? Well
because I have lived in Byron Bay for many years and seen it grow as a Guru Mecca
for the Southern hemisphere something went pop inside and I have to say
something about all this. I am even troubled by what many of my friends do .
I probably will not be so popular in Byron Bay after they find
out about this but that is not my business .
So what what to do?
If you find yourself realising that modern life is not
what it is cracked up to be and you see that you have been unhappy for
years.
Well you can go to a guru but don't go for too long maybe
a few weeks and then leave him/her. Any longer and you will fall into the love
slumber and be trapped. One must be alert; a true teacher will not want to have
large crowds around them. they will try to push you away, they may try and run
away from you beware of the loving all considerate type and those who
entertain your whingeing
Beware of hanging out with other like minded devotees ,and
when you find yourself talking guru speak beware!!! You have become trapped in a
cult or culture You have become separated from the rest of the world you
wont feel happy unless you can associate with other cultists.
Your best cure is to have a holiday in a place that is
completely non-spiritual. and feel and face the energy that arises. See how addicted
you have become!!
Why have I called myself the antiguru?
Not because I hate gurus as such or those who truly are seeking. but to be an
opposite to the game.
The Antiguru's code of conduct!
- All gurus must have an antiguru that is the
nature of this dualistic world.
- The antiguru will not try to gain followers
- The antiguru will not present a spiritual
teaching
- He will be ruthless with those who come by who
sprout spiritual non-sense!
- Sexual mores etc are not his business everyone else has
had a go and failed!
- He probably will not be popular with spiritual people
- His job is to sort the genuine seeker from the
deluge of entertainment junkies.
- The antiguru will do his best to reveal the trance
slave-like nature of ordinary life.
- The antiguru will probably get into trouble with
politicians or news media more than once.
- He does not have a tenth in this list he is not Moses!
THE ROLE OF RELIGION 16 January 2003
Religion can take many forms from the more traditional Christians Moslems
Jews Buddhist Hindu etc to the more modern ones such as Scientism sport
(especially football) in fact religion is more about a lifestyle a way to
behave than any spiritual belief. For example how would a household made of two
people each from the above list of religions be able to function. One lots' way
of living, their food habits or whether to have shoes on in the house
their 'morality you name it can you guess how harmonious it would be if
they all stuck strictly to their religious ways?
Basically even two individuals cannot live in harmony these days unless they
have common belief systems and lifestyles.
The primary role of modern religions is to enslave mankind.
They work in conjunction with the state and governments. They act a a middleman
between man and god. Well as Martin Luther said hundreds of years ago no
middleman is needed, "man can have access to god directly."
Middlemen always make the biggest profit and of course they know all the tricks
tested over millennia to fool everybody all of the time.
So now everyone needs a middleman ..no-one is brave enough
to take on life directly, people even do guided tours to insulate themselves
from the real world!
Religions control people by the following ways
- Brainwashing everyone with dogma from when they are old
enough to speak.
- Telling you to do things which do not work, when you
say it isn't working they say you aren't doing it properly keep doing until
it works. eventually you become dull and stupid and are under their
control. You know you have been got at when you feel guilty and feel bad
about yourself. Going to the church etc to pray re-enforces the situation.
They keep telling you the same old things which cause you to repeat the
program which causes the pain and so on
- They put prohibitions on your behaviour such as
marriage sex etc they know it is impossible to adhere to their teachings and
so you will always fail and become sneaky and dishonest. The more dishonest
you are the more you can be controlled..
- They provide a future heaven for all the good people
the ones who do what they are told will go
- Suffer now to have a good time in the future of course
it never comes.
- They say they are needed to keep the peace in the world
but in fact religions are the main cause of war and hatred in the modern
world. Even in the same religion they are fighting with one another
protestant vs. catholic etc
- People who wake up must be careful if they denounce
religion, they are likely to be killed or locked up. That is why most true
teachers work in secret.
