SATSANG AND MEETINGS WITH ROBERT HART; ANTIGURU

(Sky); Robert said some really lovely things about mirrors on the weekend. Don’t remember what they were (asking Robert) do you?

(Robert speaking) do you want me to say something?

Yes! If it comes up.

Mirrors, oh, oh well the first thing is you can’t see the mirror. Ha Ha so.

Why not?

Why not. Go in the bathroom and see if you can see the mirror when you’re looking into it. Can you? What do you see?

(someone) A frame.

A reflection, you can’t see the mirror . 

(someone) How’s that?

So that’s, the mirror that we see everything reflected in which is a reflection of who we are. So we can’t see the mirror we only see the reflection which is the reflection of us or the one. But because we don’t see the mirror itself we think what we see is really there, just like when you go in the bathroom and look in the mirror, it really looks like there’s somebody there looking at you and as you move your hand up and down it looks like the reflection has free will, it looks like it’s waving at you (every one laughs) And I was shown this by a little blue wren. He was going (makes knocking noise) at all the windows of the house day after day after day, and one day I sat down when  there was nobody home and I thought," silly little bird, he doesn’t see that it’s his own reflection that he sees in the window", "Oh shit, Oh! I’ve been doing the same thing." (Sky laughs) "There’s actually nothing here, it’s being reflected on some kind of,".......I  cannot explain how . This that I am reflects me back to me, but because it’s a reflection it’s not true so we see separation, and we see objects, and also it reflects feelings. Feelings are part of the reflection, it’s not just a visual thing, it’s every possible thing that can be experienced. And because it’s a reflection it’s distorted, so we see love  hate and, suffering. We see all sorts of things, sublime bliss, mountains stars everything,….(Someone calls out computers) "Computers! "who said that?  (Lots of laughter) (pointing to Shanti) 

Computers, yes. It’s so easy to make the mistake the reflection is really there and the reflection is us, because you know... there’s that story of Narcissus, who sat and looked in the pond and fell in love with his reflection and thought that somebody was really there and he pined away or something like that. So that’s what we normally do but we’re doing it in this ..... somebody described it as a computer generated three dimensional things? (asking group) Hologram,  someone described it as a hologram. So the little bird showed me that I am That in which I’m reflected... Hang on,  I’m reflected in the reflection I’m not actually what is there it’s somehow reflected on something I can’t describe. And somehow

 Sky; And here you are as that undescribed in this.

Yes this is who I am, who you are

(someone else); nothing outside

There’s nothing really out there

Because it’s all out there, in here, present.

Yes (every one says Yes)

(someone) A neat trick

(Robert) a very good trick, it’s the best magic trick of all

 someone: Slightest hand

(Robert) yes oh it beats any stage show doesn’t it? So I have to say that the little bird was my teacher, somehow it’s been doing it for years and one day, I saw, and somehow there was an intellectual level of it being seen, oh yes, this is true, somehow it just was pop! And there was no flashing lights it was just Oh yeah. And then it was also seen immediately that this is like finding out about, being tricked about believing in Santa Klaus, there’s that instant of Oh, but then you never experience it again ,but you know there’s no Santa Claus so I know I don’t have to re-experience this ‘Uh’ for it to be true.

 (sky); Yes, that’s really important.

It just continues , it’s a knowledge,  some kind of knowledge that you can’t know, but you know it.  It’s impossible to deny, and yet it would be very easy for the mind to come back in and say Oh yeah you haven’t got that ‘Uh’ now but that’s never going to happen again.

(sky) It’s like the mind playing with the recognition over and over again.

Yes, yes and wants the experience of the recognition over and over and over & over again.

Yes. Yes.

(sky) That’s it! Which is where I played for a really long time.

And then, drop back further, I am that which is aware of all this, because there was a week when A friend I were together, while the Vartman Retreat was on. And we were alone in the house & we had our own retreat.

So we explored, without even trying anything, it just happened. Love & Knowledge. It just of its own  went from complete love (, everything is one, no space. )to the other extreme, Knowledge, seeing that everything is a reflection ,there is nothing at all.

But then seeing that I am That, which sees everything. Love, knowledge the works.

 (someone)  Beautiful. Beautiful.

It’s all I talk about these days.

(Sky): (laughs) Yes. Yes. ( I love listening to it.

Over & over again. (he laughs).

(Sky laughs) What else is there to say.

It’s not coming from a past experience. It’s constantly coming from now. It’s like some kind of cosmic tape player. It’s just, this in this instant, this is Robert’s spiel.

 (Sky); And yet, each moment this spiel is real & new & fresh.

Yes, real, fresh, real, fresh. I’m not remembering now from somewhere else. It’s now.
