The Seagull sage

I was sitting by the sea when one seagull walked up to me
He stood there eyeballing me
for a long long time for  over half an hour 
he just stood there looking at me  

My eyes looking at his, his eye looking at mine.
After a long time a thought entered the mind ,
Can a seagull know the self, can he know who he is?

Quickly a reply came, the seagull said
"I am the self itself,  how could it be otherwise?"
I am humbled by this seagull ,my human arrogance
washed into the infinite sea.


THE PRESENCE OF GOD

 The presence of god is the truth behind all there is but beware that the mind does not make an object out of it or create a picture of what it is. The presence of god has no form no shape no sound no feeling no time; etc; as humans we are bathed in the presence of god, before birth and during deep sleep and while awake, dreaming, having fun, feeling sad. At death we merge with the presence of god, and it is as if our life and the universe never happened! When this is seen, a great relaxation happens, fear drops away and so I have come to the end of the letter
